Do these words sound familiar to you?
As a consultant working with a variety of clients, I've heard these words almost as a mantra. When discussing data backup, the conversation almost always includes these words...
I recently received a phone call that sent chills down my spine.
It started with the words "Heath, Last night BEFORE our backup ran, we had a system failure".

What is the "killer" feature for your site? Do you know?
If you don't know, I encourage you to take some time to figure it out.
What do I mean by a "killer" feature? The "killer" feature is that thing that people know they can get (and want to get) when they come to your site.
Often this feature is something that your business does better than everyone else... the "thing" you're known for.
Some examples of the "killer" feature might be a wizard that gives the customer an easy answer to a difficult question... or perhaps for you it is the ability to find product on your site that is impossible to find elsewhere... maybe it is giving a customer ALL the information the could EVER want to know about a product... perhaps it is a search engine that works in a way that is uniquely suited to your product line.
WHEN you discover WHAT the "killer" feature is and you implement it, you WILL see your site become more frequently visited and in turn more profitable.
When you get that feature implemented on your site then you need to TELL YOUR CUSTOMERS.
Make sure they know that your site is the "go to" site for that feature.
