In case you missed it, a couple weeks ago we announced we'll be relocating in May 2019. We didn't just buy a new building to move into—we're completely remodeling the interior to make it just right for our growing team, and construction is quickly underway. Actually, we just hit the halfway mark of our construction plans!
The new building is roughly one mile away from our current location. The building had previously been used as a law office and a chiropractor's office. There was a closed-in lobby with sliding glass windows separating the lobby from the large, centralized reception area. Offices and conference rooms were placed around the perimeter of the central reception area. This may have worked great for lawyers and chiropractors, but we needed to make some adjustments to adapt it for our needs.
The general layout has stayed the same, but we've moved and knocked out walls to make the space more open and appropriate for us. We are looking forward to the extra space, higher ceilings, and skylights! Check out last month's post for some pre-construction photos of the building.
